Waiting For My Dreams To Come True
My lonely heart waits
Patiently dreaming
Of the moonlit night
That she walks
Into my life
The days and months to follow
Ever warmed by her presence
At my side
This mischievous lady
Who makes me a better man
She electrifies me with the slightest touch
And holds my soul bare in her hands
Inside
It’s there,
It’s going,
But it’s not getting anywhere,
Usually it’s speeding
But right now
And lately
The fuel to make it move
Has been running low
The vehicle has been
Built
But now it needs
An energy source.
Flying Blind
Meeting someone new
Enjoying each other’s company
Feelings of friendship forming
The thought that a person
Can feel love towards another,
Can accept another,
And can create a friendship
That is as meaningful
As any other
In true friendship there is love
A love that, if it is not hindered
Could found a firm relationship
And when it is controlled,
There is a bond formed
That will keep the two friends
In touch for life.
